I love each of these ingredients….putting them together for a sandwich tho never entered my mind. The State Fair has started frying everything..maybe if this one is deep fried it might win a Blue Ribbon.. ..Love..Mom
Glad you all got a kick out of my sandwich.
Paige - No I did not invent this one. After BSF yesterday - I gave the Children s Leaders “live” lecture. They usually eat during “tape time” since they use so much energy serving the children during the morning. This was a pre-made sandwich off the streets. They are sold by the “half” but hearty enough, that a half will fill you up. Since I was giving lecture - I saved mine for my drive home. Once I figured out what I was eating - I decided to wait until I took a pic to finish it - thus - the partially eaten sandwich in the photo. Once I took the pic - I gobbled up the rest - it was pretty good - other than a little heart-burn afterward
Gaga - what’s with frying everything? Frying should only be reserved for chicken, fries, and okra! I guess the State Fair will try anything for a blue ribbon. The bread was “toasted” & the sandwich was room temp, but the lettuce was still cool.
Sarah - yea, you asiafied sister….figured you would want a bite! Come see me and you can have some
That’s too cute!! Glad you waited even a bit longer to feed your tummy in order to share it with us!
My husband, who is Taiwanese, loves tuna and peanut butter . . . I just can’t figure that one out!!
And the other day I made a piece of cheese toast and then another piece of toast with peanut butter to be eaten with honey after the other piece. He helped me to take them out of the oven and instead of letting me eat them “open faced” he had turned my two pieces of toast into a hot peanut butter and cheese sandwich!
LOL - Amanda - that is tooooooooo funny. By the way - congrats on your wedding - been keeping up with your blog. May God bless you both as you begin this life together for HIM!
Beware lest you say in your heart, 'My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.' You shall remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day. (Deuteronomy 8:17-18, ESV)
“You must make your choice: Either this man [Jesus] was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse.... But let us not come up with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us.”
C. S. Lewis, Oxford professor

So was that a homemade sandwich- like you put that combo together yourself? Or did you buy it that way?
Wow, sounds, um, interesting.
