The documentary is really lousy and one-sided. Osnos was clearly taken in by his sources, and didn't try to give an alternative opinion. very poor. You can find a devastating rebuttal here:

I totally concur! My dh and I live in southern TW, and I always wanted to live closer to my family in MO, rather than on the other side of the world. But... we love it here. The people are so generous and gracious. We so enjoy our work here. God is doing some amazing things and we can be a part of that!

(I am happy when I can score some real grape jelly (Costco only has raspberry). ;)

That's another thing I'm loving about living in the UK right now. I'm not having to pay for gas since I don't have a car. Over the 6 months I'm here, I'll save around $650...IF the prices stay where they are now.

I will whine for you. Gas is killing me. I paid $3.41 yesterday in OKLAHOMA, one of the places where gas comes from. It was $45 to fill up my tank and I fill it up once a week. I am glad I don't have a large SUV, but still gas has to go down!

Interesting article... I had no idea they were building a new AIT. The old building is convenient, but it just that old and small.

Nice article,

However, I disagree with his conclusions and his proposal for 'fixing' the situation. Seems like the typical anti-China rant, only with some spiritual twists...

Oh, and some insults to our president while he was at it...

I loved this moment and wish I could be the one to visit you on your Spring break. Hearing of your testimonies and adventures brings you very close to my heart and being able to share with you.
I'm very proud of your learning the Chinese language and being able to communicate God's Word with each encounter presented to you. Love....Mom
